There it is: The dreaded blank page. You love the subject you're writing about, but there is that blank page staring ominously. Where do you start?

First ask yourself if you are writing fiction or non-fiction. If you are writing fiction, start with an important trait of your main character. If you are writing non-fiction, start out treating it like an esay.
